Question Warrior Tips.

Ok so I have been out of GW for a while and have lost alot to the fact that I havent picked up NF yet. I also havent really paid much attention to UW/FoW untill now. Which leads straight to the question...

"Does anyone know what role the W is sposed to play in UW/FoW and if so got any tips for skills and stuff like that?"

I would appriciate anything you have alot.

The answer to any thread about warriors is dragon slash.

It makes perfect sense. Dragon Slash will pump out more damage than any other warrior elite. In PvE, DPS is king. You can tank perfectly well with a DS warrior since you have high base armor and a shield. There's no guarantee that mobs will stay aggroed on the warrior anymore, so chaining stances as using Dolyak Signet will just make you a waste of space.

If you've been out for a bit, I don't think FoW/UW is the place you want to get your bearings in.

Ignore Dragon Slash spammers and cut to the chase:

Warriors do what you want them to do. Your role, regardless of class is to have fun. The point I'm trying to elude to is that you shouldn't bind yourself to the words of others, its your game, play it how you want.

depends if your going 5 man team or more...
If you go 5man team it's wisely to have a dmg tank build...

If by tanks, you mean they're in front of your monks, then sure. But if you actually run a halfway respectable build with good monks, you can have fissure armor in about 20 minutes.

Dragon Slash is just leet sauce. Sure there are better elites for PvP, but PvE? Only niche builds. DS allows you to chain +40 damage skills and/or deep wounds. It also has almost no downtime at all if you use Enraging Charge and FGJ.

It's amazing pressure damage in PvP if played properly.

RA is not a good place to run a warrior, because everyone brings warrior shutdown, because melee classes are the most dangerous there.

Why would I run a Dragon slasher for pressure when I can run a RaO thumper? Warriors are for spikes, RaO's are for pressure.

You mean, "RaO's are for Bestial Mauling".
